Jaguars Avenge Defeat vs. IU-Northwest - Beat Redhawks 3-1 Tuesday Night - Now 4-3 in CCAC -

GovState women's volleyball won for the fourth time in five CCAC Conference games beating IU-Northwest 26-24, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20 at the GSU ARC.

IU-Northwest (8-13, 5-3 CCAC) beat Governors State 3-1 earlier this month at home and the tables were turned Tuesday night by the Jaguars.

Greta Bochert led the GSU offense with 19 kills and had 13 digs and two blocks for the winners.

Trenyce Bonner had a double-double with 15 kills and 15 digs and setter Alexah Martinez continued as the season assist leader for GovState with 45 assists -10 digs double-double.

GovState next plays at Mount Mary, new CCAC member on Thursday night. Oct. 2, 6 PM in Milwaukee.

The Jaguars complete the week playing at North Park University, Friday, October 3, 7 PM in Chicago.
