Another big night for GovState women's basketball with the #1 seed Jaguars (25-5) beating IU Northwest 77-67 to advance to the CCAC Championship game Monday night in the ARC!
(10) Zareia Chevre scored her 1,000th career point in the win and led the Jaguars with 21 points as "Z" becomes GSU's 6th all-time career 1,000 point scorer.
(20) Tabetha Jones scored 19 points, dished out 9 assists and had 8 rebounds in the win.
Cencere McDaniel had 14 points and 9 rebounds and Kalvina Eubanks scored in double figures with 10 points.
GovState will host the 2025 CCAC Post-Season Tournament championship game Monday Night as we pack the ARC, March 3, 5:30 PM tipoff. Vs. St. Francis who won at Olivet Nazarene 76-74.
