Duval Richardson - Assistant Coach - GSU Jaguars, back with GovState since 2024-25 season - (was on Coach Bates' staff previously 2015-2019)

RICHARDSON COACHING FILE:

Windy City Reign: In November 2024 become the co-owner of a semi-professional women’s basketball team.  The Windy City Reign will start competitive competition in the summer of 2025.

Horizon Southwest: Special Assistant to the head coach from April 2023 to March 2024, Coach two players that are currently on the JV team at Governors State University: Shane Roberts and Ahmet Unal.  We won the 2024 Chicago Public School City Championship.

Olive Harvey College: Head Women’s Basketball Coach from 2019-2023, In 2023, set school record for most wins in a season and coached a first team All-Region Player in 2023.

Chicago Breeze: Head Women’s Basketball Coach semiprofessional team from 2018 – 2024, played in the title game my first season against the Flint Monarchs. Coached several division 1 women basketball players (Michigan State, University of Illinois, Jackson State, and South Carolina State).

Governors State University: Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach from 2015-2019, Went to the National tournament in 2018

Olive Harvey College: Head Men’s Basketball Coach from 2005-2015, 2014 NJCAA Region IV Runners-Up (22-11), 2015 NJCAA Region IV Champions (26-10), 2015 NJCAA District IV Coach of the Year, 2015 NJCAA Region IV Coach of the Year.

IHSA: Illinois High School basketball official from 1994-2005, Officiated Freshman, Sophomore, JV, and Varsity game for both girls and boys.

Aurora University: Student Assistant from 1993-1994 went to Division 3 National tournament.
