BOURBONNAIS, IL – Playing under ideal weather conditions, Governors State completed play at the Olivet Nazarene Fall Invitational, held Saturday afternoon at the Kankakee Elks Country Club.

The Jaguars did not score at their season-opening meet, which was won by William Penn against a six-team field.

Kendall Paris finished her first tournament with the Jaguars by shooting a 92. She recorded a two-day total of 199 to place 40th overall. Emily Bell recorded a round of 105 for a 36-hole total of 229.

"Kendall turned in a solid round for us today and is a great addition to our team," said GSU Head Coach Mark Haines. "Emily took 19 strokes off her score yesterday and will be a key contributor for us this season."

GSU is off until Oct. 2 when it travels to the Troll Classic in Homewood.
